  • The cooperative 'La Voz que Clama en el Desierto' (The voice that calls in the desert) is located in the Western Highlands of Guatemala and is surrounded by picturesque volcanoes and a tranquil lake.

Named after its stunning surroundings, La Voz coffee is grown in fertile volcanic soil by a small community of traditional farmers. Driven by a desire to improve their quality of life and promote their town, the cooperative is committed to ecological principles.

In the shade of native trees, La Voz’s Arabica coffee plants thrive, creating a harmonious environment that also serves as a refuge for various
migratory bird species. Harvesting ripe coffee cherries is a family affair involving the members of the cooperative and their partners.

These bags of coffee cherries are then transported by hand to the common wet processing mill, where La Voz management oversees the pulping, fermentation and drying processes.
